SENIOR MENS GARMENT TECHNOLOGIST

An experienced multi-product Men’s Senior Garment Technologist is required at Brand Machine International Limited.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING

  • Conduct regular fit sessions to check garment’s fit and modify patterns where required.

  • Incorporate styling & measurement changes on the workbook & share with the manufacturers for implementation on final products.

  • Liaise with Design, Production & Sourcing teams to offer technical guidance and support on men’s new product development.

  • Work closely with the BMIL international in country teams & manufacturers to implement requirements, maintain standards & improve on shortcomings.

  • Emphasizing potential issues in a timely manner by maintaining the critical path on a regular basis.

  • Overseeing raw materials & products testing.

  • Always promote quality, whilst maintaining a strong commercial attitude.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Must have extensive knowledge on men's multi product categories (Jersey, Woven & True knitwear – Apparel.

  • Must have a clear understanding on apparel manufacturing processes and garments construction.

  • Must have experience on dealing apparel factories directly and thorough understanding of how apparel factories are structured and operate.

  • Highly organized with excellent prioritization skills & be able to work with set timelines.

  • Comprehensive understanding on Garment’s fit, pattern, size grading & grade rules

  • Pattern-cutting knowledge and practise is desirable.

  • Excellent eye for technical details to ensure products meet the industry standards.

  • Confident and clear communication skills; both written & verbal, to work productively alongside internal product team and external suppliers.

  • Thorough understanding on Product’s testing & audits.

  • Able to work both independently & in a team.

  • Flexible approach to be able to adjust to the constantly changing needs of the business.
